Little Italy, New York City
Made by Hand.
Served with Heart.
New York's best-kept Italian secret — where every dish begins with a grandmother's recipe and ends with a full table.
Our Story
Sofi's Story
Sofi Marchetti grew up in a small kitchen in Palermo, watching her grandmother Nonna Rosa roll pasta by hand every Sunday morning. The ritual was sacred — flour on the marble, eggs cracked with a single tap, the dough worked until it was silk.
When Sofi moved to New York in 2009, she brought those recipes in a worn leather notebook. Three years later, she opened a tiny spot on Mulberry Street. She called it a kitchenette — because great food doesn't need a grand stage. Just good hands, honest ingredients, and a table worth sitting at.
"Cooking is the only language where love needs no translation."
